John Zerwas, Jr. is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Sharyland Utilities (Sharyland) and Hunt Utility Services, the service company that manages the day-to-day operations of Sharyland. He is responsible for monitoring and maintaining compliance and regulatory requirements for Sharyland.
Prior to joining Hunt, Zerwas was an attorney for Eversheds Sutherland. He advised clients on both regulatory and transactional matters involving energy and electric utility issues. Zerwas was also an attorney for the Public Utility Commission of Texas, where he represented the Commission staff in numerous contested cases and other proceedings and served as an advisor to two commissioners. He has been recognized by Chambers USA: Guide to Leading Business Lawyers in the area of Energy: State Regulatory and Litigation.
John Zerwas, Jr. graduated from Stephen F. Austin University and earned his law degree from The University of Tulsa College of Law.
