Founded in 1934, Hunt Oil Company has long served as the cornerstone of the Hunt family of companies. What started as a modest exploration company in the East Texas oil fields has grown into one of world’s leading independent oil companies, with operations in North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Hunt Refining Company

Hunt Refining Company is a petroleum refining and marketing company headquartered in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The company processes and markets a variety of finished products, including transportation fuels and asphalt products, throughout the southeastern United States.

Hunt Asphalt

Hunt Asphalt provides support to Hunt Refining Company’s mission of being highly successful in the asphalt market.

Hunt Utility Services

Hunt Utility Services provided management and support services for Sharyland Utilities, L.L.C., a Texas-based electric transmission utility that is fully regulated by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.

Hunt Energy Enterprises

Hunt Energy Enterprises is Hunt’s energy technology venture business unit. It continues Hunt’s legacy of entrepreneurship by investing in and incubating new energy opportunities, both in conventional oil and gas technologies and in new renewable and cleantech power.

Hunt Energy Network

Hunt Energy Network develops and operates a network of distributed energy resources, such as batteries, within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas. The company utilizes its TraDER platform to site distributed energy resources, integrate those resources into competitive markets, and operate those resources as optimized portfolios.

Hunt Energy Solutions

Hunt Energy Solutions focuses on non-regulated electric infrastructure projects related to oil and gas exploration and production, renewable power generation, municipal assets, and smart grid applications.

PERU LNG

PERU LNG is the largest private investment in hydrocarbons in the history of Peru and is comprised of a 408 km gas pipeline, a marine terminal, and the first liquefied natural gas plant in South America. Formed in 2003 and operated by Hunt, PERU LNG also consists of SK Corporation, Maubeni, and Shell.

Yemen LNG

Hunt is an important participant in the Yemen LNG project. Hunt’s international partners in this project include Total, SK Corporation, Hyundai, KOGAS and the government of Yemen. Yemen LNG is the largest industrial project ever undertaken in Yemen.
